Our unique national youth orchestra draws players from across the UK. Rather than auditioning, players are nominated by their music teachers for dedication and commitment to music. The National Orchestra for All season launches each year with an intensive four-day summer residential course and spectacular finale concert, and reunites at residential courses and events throughout the year. Our innovative in-schools programme supports under-resourced schools and community groups by providing specially arranged music and rehearsal plans so that anyone can run an ensemble, no matter what level of skill or type of instruments are available. We then bring all of these groups - Modulos - together for regional and national meets to give young people the chance to play in a large-scale symphony orchestra for the first time. Our team of outstanding conductors delivers a course of training for early-career music teachers and community music leaders in conducting skills and how to set up and run a music ensemble. Find out more about Conductors for Change!
